I don't think it was a fix Scott just didn't want to be there and we all know how fights between 'friends' usually turn out.

Didnt know they are friends. If it is true you might be right rico.

I just hope there wasnt anything fishy on this fight. If this was fix and Wilder keep taking this kind of weird fights which he wins without breaking a sweat at some point the reality will strike hard.

Scott just wasnt there to win.

He seemed resolved to quietly quit the moment he took the first kd.

The fact that he was jumping around and merely feigning the first minute showed he wasnt interested in engaging, and when he was wobbled some by the slap, he decided that if he went down, he wasnt gonna try to get up.

He likely knew his only chance to win was to not get hit, and when he got hit, he laid down and quit.

    Here's the deal........

Wilder could probably KO 99% of the HWs out there......but if there's 1% of them who want the win, and take the fight with the full intention of winning, he's gonna get KTFO......
to be perfectly honest, Seth Mitchell, who's jaw is known to be softer than an alligator shell, would have likely gotten up from that and went right after Wilder trying to KHTFO......

Scott just said F it......why bother.:-:)-:)-(

How anyone truly think that slap could KAYO a heavyweight is beyond me.

Either it was a blatant fix, or Scott simply threw it and quit like a chump.

It was one or the other, it sure as hell wasn't a legitimate knockout, nobody can ever convince me of that ****, I know what I saw.

He threw it when he signed to fight it.

My guess is Scott was never truly committed to becoming a HW champion. Maybe he knew he didnt have the package to do it, and resolved to become a gatekeeper/sparring partner.

It's obvious that he's QUITE content with his place in this world, and riches don't move him. If you ever take notice to anything he says online, it's always about how happy he is with his mediocrity. :think

The so-called fix don't make sense. There is no reasoning for it.

Correction: a left slap. Also, the temple is not located above the ear.

The people who believe this was an authentic knockout must be the same people who think WWE is real.

I agree. I've reviewed it many times in hopes that I would vindicate Wilder as it being a legit KO, but I can't find a way. I have over 20 years in martial arts and from my combat sports experience, I can't find a way to assign that effect (Scott getting KO'd) to that cause (the slap on the left and deflected right from Wilder).

Wilder is from my home state, too, so I'd love to see him succeed and become champ one day. I was hoping this fight with Scott would confirm for me that Wilder becoming champ is possible, but this fight only left the same questions in my head about Wilder. In fact, it created more, as in, "Why would they need to fix the fight if Wilder could have won legitimately?"

If you are gullible enough to believe that this fight was legit, I have some magic beans to sell you. I've also got Big Foot locked up in my basement along with the real Elvis. I'm serious.

Yeah. This bout was about as "up for grabs" as a WWE bout. Of course, the people believing in this fight probably believe WWE is real, too.
