22 years into his boxing career, 70-3 as an amateur, winning near 200 rounds out of 223 as a 36-1-1 pro, Scott is definitely a natural born winner. His lack of big KO power only highlights his boxing superiority that goes back to his childhood as an amateur.

In a few hours he will be facing a former sparring partner, Wilder possibly the GOAT puncher to ever walk earth will be committing to full power punches. Towering at 6'8" with an 80"+ reach negating most of Malik Scott boxing defensive tools, especially because Malik Scott depended on a less mobile style that utilized solid static boxing, that works perfectly against shorter fighters or fighters who never use their full range, which is not the case with Wilder who strictly depends on hyper speed long range power punches, so far having a 100% rate of destroying his opponents.

Malik might have a secret plan to surprise Wilder with an early heavy handed attack, as every boxer can deliver an early opening all out attack, if he trains for it. However, if Wilder survives, Malik will naturally go back to boxing & have to deal with the Wilder certain offensive :boxer

In a few hours we will find out :boxer

Why would undefeated Scott lose a 7 digit title shot for peanuts :patsch

He was jobbed by the British stoppage, much cheaper and makes more sense :deal

If Scott shows up to fight he will SHATTER Wilder's glass jaw.

Wilder is a KO waiting to happen, nothing more.

Compare and contrast Tony Thompson in the David Price rematch and Malik Scott in the Chisora fight.
Both got put on the floor. Thompson wanted to keep fighting and Scott left it up to the referee.

Okay I take that back, thats already pushing the limits in British standards :think

I still don't accept what the original non-sense pay off by team Chisora

Why would Scott lower his value to accept a Chisora pay off unless its big 7 digit, why would chisora pay 7 digit for a winnable fight :dead

Scott threw the Wilder fight too. I think he did not even train for this, he looked in bad shape.
He just waited to get hurt, made no attempt to rise back up, then kissed and hugged Wilder, collected the paycheck and that was it.

I'm not saying anyone accepted a payoff.
I'm saying one guy wanted to get off the floor and keep fighting and the other guy didn't.
