    Protect yourself at all times.

To be honest, by that point Ortiz had already quit anyway and was desperate for his way out. He's a coward.

Yeah i THINK SO TOO. I think he knew he was in for a long night. But when the fight happened. I was a little disappointed. I thought he would do better. He talked a good game I guess.

    He's a talented fighter, he's just a mental weakling, I guess.

I was thinkin' right after the headbutt Floyd felt punked and was goin' to try and take his head off. I know this n*gga was like, "This mutha f*cka had the audacity to headbutt me after I just gave his ***** ass the biggest pay day of his life." Everyone in the room knew that **** wasnt gon slide.

Ortiz did a decent job before completely breaking down mentally. He was looking for a way out as soon as Floyd adjusted to the attack of Victor but some of what Ortiz did was very good. He just didn't have another game plan and Floyd exposed that. It was a very fun fight to watch.

    :deal

About time someone gives Ortiz props in the Mayweather fight, instead of the ol "Ortiz got his ass whooped" bs some of these Floyd fans suggest. Ortiz did do well in the fight and I was curios how the fight would continue to play out.

Nothing to be honest. I always knew this was a joke fight and made that clear the same day this fight was signed. I wasn't looking forward to this fight at all.

Was fully expecting Ortiz to be overwhelmed, outclassed and show clear signs of desperation and inexperience from the opening bell to the end. Though, I definitely didn't expect it to end the way it did(doubt anyone did anyway), was expecting Ortiz to lose by clear UD.

    A complete sad joke.

I was looking forward to the fight.

Ortiz had already quit against Maidana and we all knew he was mentally unstable but he was also one of the more athletic opponents that Floyd had faced in recent years. I seem to recall thinking that an athletic pressure fighter would make it interesting.

The southpaw part I thought wouldn't be much of an issue, and if anything it seemed like would make it easier for Floyd to throw that lighting lead right.

I was pissed about the knockout. Just an abrupt BS ending that was perfectly legal and perfectly legit, but damn if it wasn't anti climatic and cringe worthy.

You people need to look at the fight closely even though may was dominating, ortiz was landing some crisp body punches that moved floyd and would of taken a toll throughout the fight and he also got a couple of punches in upstairs.

true Ortiz didnt come to lose in this fight . . . . but he kinda screwed himself in this fight

the whole reason he launched himself at mayweathers face was because he was struggling to land a clean combination but regardless how the fight ended Ortiz never came back from it. He lost to Lopez in a war which a lost of people gave him **** for like the maidana fight (i took it easy on him) but in the Collazo fight recently he didnt even try . . . once he got hit he wanted out and Quit in the middle of the round. He wasnt badly hurt and he wasnt injured so personally he should quit boxing if he is going to keep giving those kind of performances

but before the fight i thought what anyone would think. Mayweather dominant Unanimous decision maybe even with a knock down with Ortiz bullrushing in trying to get a knockout . . . . . i was half right at least

I thought Ortiz was doing better than most viewers did. Looked to me like he was making some good investments to the body. And in the last round Ortiz came out stronger than I expected. I hadn't seen enough to count Ortiz out completely and then the sucker punch. Soooooo glad I didn't pay for that fight.

yes ortiz was having some success early as most may with floyd especially if you are as aggressive as victor was. but how was he ever going to sustain that pressure on floyd for 12 rounds?

i liked his game plan it could have been a touch less wild but it had its moments
