I'm not talking about local golden gloves where you fight once a week. I'm talking about those 4 fights in 4 days tournaments. Aren't those pretty hard with the day to day recovery? Not only physically but mentally/spirit wise. Someone might say that it's like a 12 round pro fight, but that's all in one day. That's not waking up the next day and going again. Your body has to revamp. How difficult was the first time?

I don't get why people ask questions like this, experiences in these matters are unique to every individual. One person may not have tried very hard and found it easy, another may have been smashed to pieces every day.

If you actually try of course it's going to be tough. Get on with it.

Oh, I haven't been in a gym in years and don't plan on it. Only fought in one tournament and it was 2 fights.

I had a tournament with 4 fights in 4 days. I found it mentally challenging ofc.
Had to make weight every single day and then 4 . 5 hours later fight. I lost in the semifinals. So i fought 3 times.
I was hurting for two weeks after that.
But i was very glad to see where i have made my mistakes in training and how to improve it.

Learn? It's obvious having 4 boxing matches in 4 days straight is going to be tough. What is there to learn?

i had fights two days in a row, first fight i got win by opponents DQ in third round. He was hitting me with his head, in back of the head and with inside of the glove and he really ****ed me up.

Next day i had so much more self confidence and courage because i knew that nobody gonna bash me like i was bashed the day before :) i lost that fight, but it was maybe the best performance i ever did

The hardest part is to make weight the same day as the fight. Often you don't have that many hours to rehydrate. It gets harder by every day and fight. The fights itself isn't that tough. Your opponent has to go through the same as you. Believe me, a single professional fight is much harder than an amateur tournament with several fights.

I never bothered much with the making weight thing. I remember one time I signed up for 138 lbs when I was a kid. Weighed in at 134.5. I guess I might have been able to make 132. How much weight can you put on in a few hours?

Not much at all. You can't eat or drink too much if the fight is only a few hours away.

  13. Have you just had the 2 fights total?

    7. six exhibitions. No real fights in a while.

  15. What is an exhibition? An open sparring session?
