Peterson's been controlling the fight through four; with the jab in round one, and with superior accuracy as the two trade in close over the next three. Jimenez made it close in the fourth, but AP finished with a flourish to take the stanza on my card. Fifth was more of same.

    50-45 Peterson

Yeah, both guys going low...Jimenez more so.

AP lands a BIG right in round 6 that momentarily wobbles Jimenez. Marcos fires back with a one two, and a right, but those three punches in total aren't enough to overtake that single bomb, let alone the steady stream of hooks to the body that Peterson is landing.

    60-54 Peterson

The rounds are kind of blending into one another. Jimenez is showing heart by staying in the trenches, but is getting worked over for his efforts.

Jimenez is not going away. This will be a UD win for Peterson.

I actually gave the ninth to Jimenez. Peterson's gone into cruise control, and allowed Marcos to take the play away from him in that frame. Jab-Jab-Right-Hook was the best sequence of the round for Jimenez.

    89-82 AP, though.

99-91 Peterson on my card. Jimenez hung tough, though.

Vanes Matirosyan vs Mario Lozano 10 rds.

    Round 1:

Matirosyan comes out and starts firing right hands over the low left, landing at a pretty good clip. But Lozano takes them pretty well, and connects with a couple of nice counter hooks to remind Vanes that he's here. Decent exchange at the end.

    10-9 Vanes.
