Is Martinez going to dump his WBC belt and go straight into a fight with GGG, or will he defend it against Rubio in a fight off HBO?

Very true. Cotto does not come close to deserving that fight in the least.
Quillin won't fight him either. He is SOL at this point. At least Jr has the stones to fight him.

I hear ya. Martinez claims he's going to "deal with" GGG after Cotto. We shall see what his word means.

not a single awesome fight signed?

what about Froch vs Groves? that's definitely an awesome fight and then some. :deal

although across the board you're right. we need some more fights that get the juices going.

if Martinez beats Cotto (which he should) then he does need to fight Golovkin next.

there can be no more excuses.

Which truth? You mean the truth in which Chavez and Martinez are defeated should they step in the ring this year?

Sergio Duckvilla Martinez will avoid GGG post Cotto.

Not gonna happen, unfortunately. It'll be Alvarez or, if Sergio struggles with Cotto, look for Mayweather to angle for that fight.

Floyd's already keeping a close eye on Cotto-Martinez in case Miguel pulls off the upset, but if Sergio looks far past his best (even in a winning effort), Floyd will have Sergio @ 155 on the short list of possible fall/winter matchups. Perfect recipe to land him the lineal middleweight championship, and Sergio's so desperate for the payday now, he'll gladly give up terms- just like he did for Cotto.

    Book it.
