It's great that both training camps have allowed access to sparring in the first week of a training camp. Both look good, moving their heads well, etc. Can't wait to see what shape they'll be in in 8 weeks.

    Round 4

Solis is peering up between his gloves from a crouch and pecking at Thompson with jabs. Thompson is down, slip. He remains on all fours a strangely long time considering it was a slip. Something may be troubling him, or his wind might be diminishing. That was a pretty blatant attempt to stall for time. Game on. Solis is drilling hard right hand leads into Thompson's chest. Wild dragged-from-behind left hooks by Solis, lifting himself off the canvas as he backs Thompson up with them despite missing or getting blocked. Sharp piercing right hand leads on the chest by Solis bouncing in. Solis ducks and slips a few right jabs by Thompson at mid-range.

    10-9 Solis

    39-37 Solis

Can the director put the action back on normal speed. Think its been playing in slow motion.

Solis just trys to use his speed, with his random explosion of combos. But more often then not, he's missing and then gets in to close and out of range for them to land the way he's throwing them. And he goes back into long periods of inactivity.
