The card goes on but the TV coverage doesnt. They aint waiting around so that the viewers wont miss the fight.
HURRY THE **** UP GOD DAMNIT Nearly a ****ing minute in between each pitch. How i used to sit through and watch Giants games as a kid i dont know.
I hear you. I went to the Cleveland Indians game last night and the 7th inning alone took an hour. It is ridiculous anymore how long some of these games take. It was almost a four hour game and the final score was 5-3.
This is messed up man, I had other stuff to do. What a waste of money by ESPN you know they had the camera crew and everything set up, and they dont even cover the fights.
ESPN does not care about boxing. Bottom line. How many baseball games anymore end in under 3 hours, especially nationally televised games. By scheduling WNF right after a baseball game every week, they pretty much guaranteed it won't be on.
i'm not giving up hope yet. baseball tonite is slated for 12:00ET and since it's on now (11:30) i'm praying wed. night fights will start at 12.
I think they'd still air it if it were delayed an hour or so, but it'd be almost two hours late if they still aired it once the Baseball tonight is over. I doubt they'll show it, but I hope so.
I'm setting my TIVO. I can do 10:00-12:00, but 12:00-2:00 is too much. Here's hoping it's a least on. As much as I hate the fact that the fights were delayed, I guess I can deal with a baseball game going over, but then showing Baseball Tonight before the fights, come on?
yeah this is frustrating as hell. i've been following quillen's career for awhile now and this was going to be a great test for him. like MRball said, it would be a grevious waste of money to send an entire crew down to broadcast a fight and not even show it on a delay.
