Did he fight McGirt? Vince Phillips? Azumah Nelson ? Pazienza? Thobella? Nazarov? Also he did not beat LaPorte and should have rematched him. Also ducked Haugen and Randall until they were old enough 2 fight and still lost 2 Randall. And Rosario was doing coke when they fought. Maybe I should have ranked him lower, maybe he is not exactly top 10, but let me know who deserves to be included instead of him.
Its obvious ducky is a *****, only complete idiots would deny it when all the facts prove it! Hes done everything in his power to throw road blocks to avoid facing Pacman. Even after Pac 2 fights in a row ducky claimed he was over the hill yet if he wouldve faced him it STILL wouldve set PPV record and made Floyd the most money of any fight he'll ever have yet even with that huge upside he still ducked bc deep down hes scared shitless of Pac. Floyd fans argue Pac shouldve taken the 40 mill when it was offered ahahah what a load of ****, Pac was worth far more at the time and put up equal PPV numbers. Floyd is a punk *****, aint no way around it
You put Lewis but don't have Bowe or Tyson on the list... get to **** you little fooking ferret of a man.... haha
Bowe ducked him. Tyson was in prison when he reached the world stage, chose to fight Holyfield instead of taking the mandatory defence against him in 1996, was suspended through 1998 and avoided him from 1999 until the money on offer became too big to turn down in 2002. He would have fought Holyfield in 1993 if Holyfield hadn't lost to Bowe, they would have fought in 1994 if Holyfield hadn't lost to Moorer, both had to rebuild their careers after he lost to McCall. 1998 was the first time both actually managed to reach the fight date without slipping up. Everyone wanted to see him fight Grant, nobody wanted to see him fight Ruiz. He offered to fight Ruiz after Grant but King and Ruiz refused and took him to court to strip him of the WBA belt. Wasn't interested in a fight with Byrd because he was trying to set up a three fight deal with Tyson, Vitali and Wlad Klitschko that fell through. Byrd's own promoter paid him $1million and gave him a car to relinquish the IBF Belt. He beat Vitali fair and square, and at that stage of his career he did not want to fight another war so retired instead of having a rematch. The only cases you could legitimately claim he actually "ducked" anyone are the last two.
Hmmm. Interesting list of names. I don't like the idea that Chavez wilfully ducked anyone, particularly in his prime. However, to be fair, I don't really know; I'd need to look into it before I passed comment. You know how boxing is, I'd be inclined to think there are credible reasons why some of these fights didn't happen, promotional issues, timing or what not. There will always be legit reasons why some fights that should have happened didn't happen, it doesn't necessarily mean that one fighter wilfully ducked another. Wasn't Nelson too small and McGirt too big at the relevant times? I can't remember. Anyway, I don't agree that Chavez lost to Laporte, it was close, but clear for Chavez, at least in my opinion. I'll look into your list of names when I get chance, but I don't think many would consider Chavez a serial ducker the way you describe. :good
When the big fight at 168 was Ward and Bute, Ward said Bute was not worthy enough. That was a duck. Rematch with Froch in England. Ward said he was calling the shot. An other duck. Ward being called by Stevenson after he knock out in one punch Bad Glass Jawson: Stevenson is not worthy enough. Conclusion: Ward diserve a place in that p4p list for sure. Not #1, but certainly up there. Since S6, he is ducking every possible threat being full of bs while saying he hates boxing politics.
Khan is the number 1 cherry picker in the sport. He's ducked every top 5 fighter in what division he's been in. He's ducked every registered active Big Puncher in the top 500 of his division.
Calzaghe beat no elite boxer in his career that was anything close to their prime, that includes his gift decision vs 43 year old geezer Hopkins with his numerous rabbit punches and inaccurate volume punching. If his whole career to this day is full of nothing, how does he deserve a fight with Hopkins in 2002? Bernard isn't the one who pulled out of fighting Glen Johnson three times. Unlike Joe he actually fought Glen and is the only guy to finish him. Calzaghe also never fought Dawson or Pavlik, unlike Hopkins, so I don't know what you're talking about
Jones Jr also holds two wins over two of the best fighters of the generation, probably better than anyone he supposedly ducked.
