Current boxing state: Good for boxers or bad for fans?

    The way how boxers can easily duck the best competitors in their division who are lesser known... do you feel this is good for boxing because boxers are now all making more money....or is it bad for boxing fans because we don't get to see the must fights. That being said. Even if boxing had a central controlling authority who could make fights, there is no guarantee they could force fights as many can just shift divisions (ie pacman, floyd, broner, marquez etc) the best fighters can fight across 3-4-5 divisions.

    Every now and then we see a good fight, but for the most part boxing is shitty b/c of

    multiple promotors
    networks
    all around *****-ass behavior
    multiple belts

    i would really loveto see boxing run UFC style

    Boxing is crooked....................boxing is becoming WWE..................bad for boxers and fans, but some boxers enjoy getting ranked without fighting anyone. Wilder #3 WBC without fighting one ranked fighter...........so it's good for some, but it's good for the crooked promoters who believe the rans and stupid...........

    Lepai most be laughing, he is getting a million dollar payday and is somehow deemed mandatory challenger and never beat anyone of relevence in his whole life. He couldn't even do what wilder did and beat 31 bums

    Leapai beat the number one contender Boytsov. Wilder did not fight anyone to get a ranking, no one at all.........

    Competition among the networks is great for fans but the lack of cooperation isn't.

    Multiple promoters - Got to have multiple promoters to increase the competition and open the doors for more people to join in. One promoter sure as hell won't solve anything and easily dictate.

    Networks - Again, the more the networks the more the competition. Without competition you will only see fights they want you to see, not ones you want to.

    All around *****-ass behavior - As a human being, everyone is vulnerable to ***** ass behavior here and there.

    Multiple belts - Have to agree with you on this one. I'd rather see ONE main belt for each division. Having 4 major belts is ridiculous.

    Run like the UFC?, I hope you're not being serious. UFC guys don't get paid what boxers do and not even close. It's like the WWE where one man is in charge of all and makes fights as he desires. The entire show is dominated by one man. Boxing will never be like that and for good reasons.

    The only fight they might cooperate for is Mayweather vs Pacquiao because of the money and attention involved. If there were more fighters with gifted special physical attributes of Mayweather and Pacquiao who are also perfectly hyped by their promoters then you will see the networks bend the rules to make more huge fights like these. It all comes down to what's available and if it's worth it.
