This reminds me of that Russian Guy who had all of his wins by KO and then he came to the States and fought Zuniga (a guy who got KO'd by Pavlik) and he got stopped himself.

You also have to factor in the home cooking they get in the UK and the bull**** judges & refs

I think BHops resume is better, and that is mostly because of his opposition at 175 lbs.

Had he stayed at 160 lbs, JC's resume would be relatively better.

that's laughable and shows a childish level of blindness to the corruption that runs through US boxing

why is this a question...its clearly hopkins, even if he beat hopkins, hopkins will still have the better resume. JT beat hopkins but that didn't made his resume better than hopkins, beating hopkins doesn't mean you have a better resume than him.

We are talking about resumes here not the fighter, boxrec is a source you can view both resumes on seperate windows and it is clear than hopkins resume is better.

Wow, Johnson is going from a good fighter and good guy who I'm a fan of to getting seriously overrated by you here. Kessler would decision him. The MW version that Hopkins fought would be facing a guy 15 lbs heavier in the ring with more skill, power, and speed.

Prime Tarver-Kessler would be a good matchup. The Kessler that Calzaghe beat would've beat the **** out of the Tarver that Hopkins beat.

    WHAT!

Did you post this to the wrong fighter?

-Eubank was 31 years old-prime enough in age

    -Calzaghe was 25

-Calzaghe knocked Eubank on his ass in the first ten seconds and later in the tenth

-the WBO belt was vacant because of all-time great Steve Collins and who the hell cares if it was vacant?

They are fairly equal as far as I'm concerned.

Calzaghe has wins over Eubank, Reid, Sheika, Woodhall, Brewer, Mitchell, Lacy and Kessler.

Hopkins has wins over Johnson, Echols, Vanderpool, Trinidad, Joppy, DLH, Tarver and Wright.

The only difference is that Calzaghe is from the UK, while Hopkins is from the US, so all of the bigger names that Hopkins beat are consider HOFers by the US fans while all the bigger names on Calzaghe's resume are considered Eurobums because the US fans don't know much about them :-(

The gap is not as wide as many think Kessler is a great fighter who could be an all-time great IMO that would end up telling us more.
