WTF Ward pulls out due to a cut.

Shame as fight was starting to shape up to be good.

Fight goes down as a Technical Draw.

Not sure, fight didn't go 4 rds so it dosen't even go down as a real draw.

Yeah at first the cut didn't look like much but on closer inspection it was one of those bad cuts where the blood is going directly into the eye so probably had to be stopped immediately.

Still a **** ending and will have to get my boxing fix tonight with the Kovalev fight.

Most of the bookies will pay out on the decision which was a draw and any backers of either fighter have lost their money.

That is why you should stick to Betfair and lay the fighter that you think won't win.

Personally thought the WBC and WBA had the technical draw decision but the WBO and IBF rules were a no contest if the fight stopped before 4 rounds on an accidental injury.

Cannot find anything on the IBF website stating that the above rule had been changed.

That will be a winner mate.

The technical draw was announced as the official result and Betfair will pay out on your lay.

Any problems post on here but your bet has won.

Paddy power have voided the bet (Hall by KO). Had it in a double with Kovalev rounds 1-3. Full stake will now be on that as a single i'm guessing.. C'mon the Krusher!! :good

    No Decision will
be awarded to any of the contestants if the situation occurs before four rounds have been
    completed.

from IBF, our joke of a board just make it up

Thought the decision was wrong after checking the IBF website.

Good to see Betfair paid out OK but they could not do anything else as the rules are clear - the technical draw was announced at the end of the fight.

The IBF rules clearly say that the fight should be ruled a "no decision", in which case all bets must be refunded.

But because the fight was incorrectly labeled a "technical draw" the bookies keep everyone's money? Surely this can not stand??

If a light bulb dropped accidentally from the ceiling in the 2nd round and injured a fighter, and the fight had to be called off, could it POSSIBLY be fair for the bookies to claim that all bets on EITHER fighter were losers??

most bookies will void your bet last night as in the past what has happened would have been a no contest:good
