Actually, it was good advice. Mayfield just didn't follow it.

Hunter has the heart of a champion. He showed so much grit in between rounds. Legend.

A trainer can only do so much. Ultimately, it is up to the fighter to execute.

There wasn't much Mayfield or Hunter could do whilst the Ref allowed Dorlorme to hug and hold every time Mayfield landed a good shot or low blow as well.

The local news says that he was part of the state senator leland yee Raymond shrimp boy chow scandal. Surprise hbo didn't mention it was that. They just said he was having law issues. It's big new here in the Bay Area

I know, it's nuts. Murder for hire

It was SO obvious that Shrimp Boy is still a gangster. The guy spent that whole Gangland episode talking about his criminal activities with so much pride. He claimed he was good friends with Charles Manson and acted all proud of it like he won a Nobel Prize

A friend of mine grew up with Karim and his brother.

Anyone that knows sf chinatown will tell u shrimp boy is still shrimp boy. He is the tong leader and the previous person that was the leader was killed in broad daylight. All fingers point to shrimp boy and he showed up at that guys funeral.

Hopefully Karim will bring a fight to sf. I remember he had a fight in Richmond lined up but got cancelled

I've seen Shrimp Boy around several times. I was getting road rage once and was gonna yell at the driver then I realized Shrimp Boy was in the car so I figured I better shut my mouth lol

I think damn near everyone figures he was behind the killing.

    www.sfgate.com/news/article/A-KILLING-IN-CHINATOWN-Allen-Leung-a-power-in-2500019.php

One of my friend's father used to be involved in gang stuff in Chinatown. He saw that Gangland episode and said "it's because of him one of my friends got killed".

I don't know if he was talking about Leung or someone else.

Mayfield has done a lot better than I expected. I saw him years ago on the undercard of Toney-Batchedler (worst fight ever) and he looked bad. It was a technical draw.

I never would have thought that he would become a contender. SF Weekly had a
good article on him called "Fighting Chance". I like it because it talks about how rough the sport really is, and how most fighters don't get paid much at all

Mayfield is too flat footed. Why do fighters spread their legs so damn far apart, what do they think they're accomplishing? It does NOTHING for you

He has no footwork what so ever, which is why his offense is all arm movement, and his defense is the same old "duck under" thing over and over
