Thats the coolest thing i heard in boxing in a long time. Saturday night, primetime, and everybody has ESPN. very cool, hope Arreola wins :bbb:bbb
He probably won't, I mean it'll be cool for boxing if he does. First Heavyweight title holder of Latin american descent is major. I just don't have much faith in Chris..can't take him seriously.
i like that it's on regular cable instead of premium. i think it's bull**** that arreolla is getting a second shot at the title when he clearly was destroyed by stiverne. he doesn't deserve this shot. it's bull**** that it's in cali too which favors him. i think stiverne is going to knock him out this time.
Agreed... Stiverne completely outclassed and battered Arreola, beat him to a pulp... No need for a rematch, but the WBC are desperate for a Mexican heavyweight champ......
Yea he got beat bad but u want Wilder to fight for the title when hes took on 1 decent Opponenet??? I'll go with Arreola
closest they're going to get is gerald 'el gallo negro' washington. he's half mexican and looks promising.
Arreola is a decent fighter. if his nose didnt get broke in like the first or 2nd round i think the fight wouldve alot closer. you guys writing him off to easy
John Ruiz beat him to the punch, and it wasn't major. I'm stunned a world heavyweight championship fight is going to be broadcast on ESPN. We all know what ESPN pays for fights, and it's not a lot.
dumbest logic ever arreola didnt come into the ring with a broken nose....he left with one. maybe stiverne shouldnt aim for his nose this time so it will be more fair
But who really sees this fight as a 'world heavyweight championship'? I guess (American) people will warm up to it if Arreola wins and defends against another American citizen. Like it was in the old days, when American men were real men.
