Yet no complaints from Jim Watt sat ringside, it makes me sick to listen to him during the Froch Groves fight, definately jealous of Froch's success. Anyway Froch had Groves hurt three or four times before the 9th but Groves recovered, Froch is just too rough on the inside for Groves.
Huh... Benn was done. Absolutely mad to compare the two stoppages. Benn's eye was closed and he was starting to take a beating. That stoppage was perfect, he was not going to win that fight.
Scores were about even by the 8th, Benn knocked him down in the 8th and 9th, he came back but stoppage was premature for me. Look at the punishment some fighters have been allowed to take and continue and gone on to win. If a fighter wants to fight on and he's in the fight to a degree it shouldn't be stopped.
I suppose the ref could have let it go on for another few seconds, but Benn was out of it and Eubank would have hurt him big style
No But your right with the jim watt thing. He wdnt stfu during Froch groves. Like it was a shock that groves was faster and sharper. Froch is just an iron punchbag he's always been the same. People tire themselves beating his head then he closes the show. It was like watt had never seen Froch fight before
In what regard? Am i missing something here, Groves looked worse than Benn at the time of the stoppages. Benn knocked him down twice in the previous 2 rounds. He took a few shots and looked hurt, as Watt picked up on roughly 35 seconds before it was stopped, a similar fashion to how they picked up on Groves being hurt in the 9th, the difference being that they had said ''Groves leggs are gone'' and that he was in trouble ''now'' a whole minute and a half before the stoppage of Groves, during this minute and a half Groves was hit with more punches and eventually stopped as we all saw. Do you box? Because a lot of people on here seem to think that by criticizing a post it makes them seem knowledgable on boxing. Im probably watched and fought and read about more fights and fighters than you could dream of. You brought no explanation for your response which suggests you don't have a clue what your talking about.
Watt picks his favourite after the first round then spends the rest lavishing praise on him and discrediting anything the other guy does. Used to think people were harsh on Watt but he does seem to be getting worse. The whole sky set up could do with a serious update.

Hmmm.......I beleive the post-match reactions of both the beaten fighters tell the story. Benn said "He beat me fair and square." Groves was quoted after getting his head together as saying "WAAAAAAHHHH WAAAHHHHHHHHH chins aren't fair!!! Gimme a re-match!!!!" ....um...or something like that. Anyway, both stoppages were correct, GrovesVFroch was about 5 seconds premature, EubankVBenn was spot on.
