Good shout, not many Brits could beat an unbeaten Italian in his home Country. Barrett was a big underdog, but Calamati was in for a shock...

The criteria some people have on here for what defines big punchers recently is absurd. According to certain peoples logic nobody is a big puncher unless they knock out every single opponent they face. This site is getting stranger by the day.

I remember me Naz and my mate Dan Lewis were out on a night out and we were near that Terry Griffiths Snooker hall isn't it, anyway, we saw one of them really cool punch machines and we thought it would be fun to have a go and I punched it really hard for like 500 and then my mate Dan Lewis had a punch and it was like 550 and then Naz said he didn't have any change on him so we think we was scared because Dan Lewis goes to the gym loads and does bicep curls and Naz knew he had lost.

Have to go all time Wilde, post WWII, Naz. Just think the little guys move with more speed and can therefore have out-sized power.....plus Napoleon complex rage!

think on a smaller scale paul samuels had good 1 punch power . herbie hide had serious pop . haye also was a naturally smaller man than many suggest , he may have weighed 210 ala tyson in his later days , but he was fighting jim twyt at middle weight as an amateur and bulked up to heavy, haye had tnt in his fists for sure ... think george groves also deserves a mention on recent showings , nigel benn for me though p4p hit harder than anybody ,the reason being he had no regard for his own safety most of the time , he might not of hit the heavybag the hardest , but with someone throwing back benn for me is on top ! david price also for all his frailties has a monster right hand !
