    Are you serious ? :huh

Eubanks lightest prime fighting weight was Middleweight - Hatton was a 140 lb man.

    What the....

A fat Hatton eats his way to Super MW and gets decapitated by Eubank.
I hightly doubt Hatton is going to pull a Duran/Barkley.

Their posts are a bizarre mix of a bit of knowledge and seemingly, innocence. If that is so, I would advice them to stay away from here, as boxing fans tend to be quite intolerant of said innocence. Or at least stick to the topics that they know.

This guy asked the question 'who is earnie shavers', when i questioned him about it, he told me he was a boxing historian. I say hes full of sh..

    Rockymarmite is another moron troll

    most likely Tommo/Glover again

the whole purpose of this stupid thread is a thinly veiled attempt to justify 'size' in boxing.

"why todays fighters are better because theyre bigger "

Watch, soon hell start a thread talking about Chris Arreola would have bene too big and too strong for the 70s heavyweights.

Ive seen all this before from these seemingly so called innocent newbie fans

Give this guy a break !
No one here came out of the womb knowing who Earnie Shavers is, or having an understanding of the significance of gulf between light-welter and super-middle.

    You guys are harsh.

(yes, could be troll. benefit doubt applies though)

I think if Hatton was three inches taller and 168 pounds he'd be favoured over most versions of Eubank.
Maybe Eubank at his absolute best would be too much for him. But I'm still tempted to say Hatton ... IF they were same size.

Eubank dealt with Wharton. But Hatton wasn't flat-footed.

    screw you!

your full of ****. You just started another thread in general 'can hagler beat a heavyweight' once again asking a question which you know the answer to. On purposely starting that thinly veiled debate about size again. I know your game. Same troll, different name, same agenda

lol i think you are paranoid

i just ask if hagler could step up like toney.

toney stepped up so obviously i cant think small fighters are rubbish. but i like light weights anyway not heavt weights i find them more boring

They are not, but it would be a way of saving the thread. Not least because the brothers kept their s on their surname, unlike Chris, and the title of the thread is Hatton Vs Eubanks...
