As you may not know, Kovalev is in Russia nowadays. He gave this interview today and as Krusher sparred with GGG, the question was asked on whether GGG's power is real/overrated/a myth?

    Kovalev:
"Not a myth. He hits even maybe not like a lightheavy but a heavy, I can't say for sure. Gena hits strong, quick and stiff. I can't say how to compare power of a middle/supermiddle/heavy but when he lands his shots on you, you feel damage on your body. In sparrings with him your self defense mechinism starts working at 100% and you get cautious and attentive.
Off course when I came back from Russia untrained I could not work with him at 100% but later when I gained my form we had pretty good sparring sessions where we hit each other like mules, anything could happen in those sessions, I got hit, he got hit. That's it :)"

Bro thats the amateurs, its a points system game.

His technique, balance and precision is great for the pros imo. Not even mentioning power.

His D could use work but again i think its due to him being too confident in his power.

Kovalev has more brute force power.

    GGG is more skilled.

Kovalev. A powerful middleweight cannot hit harder than a powerful light heavyweight.
