I got Alvarez in this matchup Lara is severely overrated defensively and has a non existent offense, Alvarez is underrated due to his first loss. The only area I'd give Lara an advantage is foot movement and even then for all the running/backing up he does he still gets lumped up in every fight I've seen outside of his last vs Trout, props to Alvarez for demanding this bout

Canelo points, do you honestly think GB or the judges are going to let the new cash cow loose to an unknown guy like Lara the only way i see Canelo loosing is by stoppage. If i knew the judging would be fair i'd have it a pickem fight slightly tipping Lara but for me it will be a somewhat controversial win for Canelo

 

Way I see it Lara's defense esp on the inside is overrated and his offense is underrated. Canelo is vice versa, tho his offense has improved and he's the younger fighter we haven't seen the best from him yet. I think Lara might be underestimating Canelo abit. Both have their flaws wont be easy for either one, but I think Canelo after fighting Floyd is actually going to get much, much better. Haven't seen a 154lber that fast since 2002 Oscar @154.

 

Canelo will beat his ass, and garfios will make a thread about the ring being too small.
