Yikes, Clottey didn't throw because Manny is actually a counter puncher especially since he moved up to WW. And unlike some other counter punchers in the division his counter punches arent just 'harder than you expected'. It only takes a few of those counter flurries for fighters to go into their shell and stop throwing.

I'm pretty sure you just started watching boxing in 2008. Being a shot fighter kills.

Well for a start, maybe he was being 'punished' by Arum for putting up that shambles of a performance, it will have been embarrassing for him as well. No ones in the business of fixing fights so the overwhelming favourite can win though. Clottey most like just **** himself at Pac's speed.

It wasn't fixed. Called this fight from the get go: it would be a Pacquiao work out session on a walking heavy bag.

Forgive my bias, but, the fight went exactly as I saw it would go the moment the contract was signed. You can even dig up my old post to confirm. So, no, it wasn't fixed in my eyes.

" Why is Clottey Considered Dangerous to Pacquiao? I see a lot of people claiming that Clottey is a dangerous opponent for Pacquiao. I personally don't see it.

Clottey has 1 KO in his last 11 fights including a NC, 2 losses, and is a fairly stationary target. (Career: 20 KOs with 35 wins and 3 losses)

Other than his chin, what assets does Clottey have that presents a challenge for Pacquiao???

I think this is going to be an extremely lop-sided fight. Clottey is going to be a walking punching bag for Manny, not much else. Lack of foot-speed and lateral movement will allow Pacquiao to get off his punches whenever he wants while Clottey will be forced to sit with his hands up, reducing his work-rate."

That doesn't change my opinion that Clottey does not have much of a chance to win this fight. 1 KO in his last 11 fights, and a tendency to fade late. Clottey's high guard and come forward style is perfect for Manny as well, and Roach knows it.

People are putting way too much stock into size and not enough into skill and speed."

"My thoughts are exactly the same as they were before the fight started. Pacquiao was going to tee off on Clottey like he was a walking heavy bag.

The fact people even thought this fight was going to be competitive is hilarious to me. "

he was chasing williams so hard that when the fight was offered to him he declined.

i believe the weight drain game/non disclosure agreement was used in the pac/clottey fight.
