I'm sure we will find out in time

Majority of this forum have probably decided it was Hearn in his ear already anyway, without knowing any facts what so ever

Ryan the Lion will claim the latter as well known fact and how Hearn should be shot.

    Solaris will say who cares.

    No one will blame Degale.

Answer to your question-nobody really knows at this point i dont think. I reckon its Degales best option though, Mick cant take him further really due to lack of funds, W arren comes with loads of other problems and cant guarantee Bika, whereas Hearn i guess is the biggest mainsteam promoter who could use Skys pull to get Bika here.

Incidentally i think Degale loses that fight

I read Hennessy will take legal steps and I'm not surprised, because now he loses one of his milk-cows, and if 1 rat is of the ship who will follow next?
If DeGale jumps over to Hearn, I think they will meet in court.

IF he thought Bika before the summer and won, would be great for the UK! As many know he nearly signed for Matchroom before Hennessey but wanted too much money, so would be logical for him to go there after becoming a free agent, especially with the fights on offer for doing so.

Maybe but they may have difficulty proving Hearn was involved prior to Degale leaving which is what Hennessey is said to be concerned about.

Nothing he can do if Degale 'proves' he left then contact was made by either party. Though id be surprised if Degale hadnt asked some questions of other promoters before he left.

He will fight Brandon Gonzales on May 31st with the winner facing Froch or Groves. Could be a tricky fight.

    Clearly he didn't fancy Bika.

Don't agree with that - think it has more to do with the £ signs where Eddie's eyes used to be.

Yeah if your are number 3 on the list of British Supermiddles and the top 2 are fighting each other. Would you not want to be with the promoter who controls that fight and also the Belt(s)

If Froch wins does he really want to fight DeGale or does he fight Chavez Jr in Vegas?

If Groves wins then he will fight Degale (perhaps after a voluntary) but if Froch wins he may choose to vacate and fight in Vegas.

Easy win for DeGale, should be able to look impressive to the casuals who'll then be interested in him vs Froch/Groves

Don't know how people can blame Degale for joining Matchroom, it's an opportunity at a shot of the world title and an easier way of getting the most lucrative fight for him out there in either the Groves rematch or a fight with Froch. Also, a fighter of his calibre shouldn't be fighting some nobody on Argos car park.

It's good to see James DeGale happy and it was real good of him to give his trainer Jim McDonnell a good shout out like that today. I wish them all the best for the future.
