Alvarez not interested in Lara's belt, negotiatons are progessing

    "Canelo thinks Floyd is the champion. Floyd beat Canelo and Canelo thinks Floyd is the champion, so how can Lara be a champion..So Canelo doesn't want it for a title so it won't be a title fight, but if Lara wants to defend the title he can pay the sanction fees. But Canelo said he doesn't want to fight for the title."

    The fight will contracted at the JMW limit of 154 lbs. despite this being a non title fight. There will probably be a press tour and I'd imagine that Lara will cancel his fight against Ishe Smith.

    canelo wil get arrested for attempted murder with dangerous weapons vs lara.

    such a total mismatch, some idiots think he will be able to mayweather canelo.
    NO WAY easy ko for canelo. i would say beat down but lara cant take a beating so as soon as canelo lands one of his combos will be the beginning of the end.

    I keep saying this. Lara is no Mayweather. He's been hit and hurt by fighters with less speed, and less power. Canelo learned from his fight with Floyd. He's gonna dismantle Lara.

    Canelo should move up and fight Golovkin. They're both hypejobs.

    I think Golovkin would knock Canelo out. Hell, I think Canelo loses to most of the top 10 fighters at MW.

    Canelo knows Lara aint gonna agree to drop his title and his already made fight. He's already fighting for peanuts and he needs his belt to get a fair shake at negotiations with Caneloe.:fire

    Lara doesn't have to drop his title. He can pay the sanctioning fee, and he would keep the belt if he were to win. As far as his May fight, why take that fight when you can get Alvarez in July?
