There's no possibility that Bob Arum don't want the fight to happen? Negotiations still have to happen with him so if he don't want the fight, it won't happen and they'll blame Floyd...

If Pacquiao defeats Bradley and becomes the NEW WBO 147 CHAMPION, what will be the road block for the Mayweather fight?

    - Purse split - Check, Pacquiao is willing to take the lesser amount.

    - Blood Test - Check, Pacquiao is now willing to do any testing with Mayweather.

What else would be the excuse or road block coming from Mayweather's mouth?

First off, don't call me an idiot. No need for infantile name calling.

I didn't mention Pacman in any of my posts, but I'm glad you brought up the comparison:

They're polar opposites in terms of fighting styles yet both of these guys have had the best PPV numbers now for over 5 years. No one else has been close to the #'s they make.

Maybe some of his antics outside of the ring have helped to hype some of his fights up. But FLoyd has definitely toned down his out of the ring antics the past few years and is still doing great PPV numbers.

It's obviously a combination of people wanting to see him lose, and than his own fanbase that just enjoys to watch him fight.

On a side note, for those saying every great fighter sticks there neck out at a certain point in a fight and goes for a KO, I bring up 2 ATG's as evidence that you don't need to do that in order to be considered great:

    Pea Whitaker and WIllie Pep.

I don't think anyone would call either of those guys pussies for not going for the KO. Rather they're both considered top 20-25 ATG's, and in Pep's case, some consider him a top 5 P4P fighter ever. Both Master boxers with sublime defense. SOunds eerily similar to the current P4P king.

I'm still waiting on a response from anyone who keeps claiming that FLoyd has been a ***** since he moved up to 147 lbs.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, since he fought DLH he's had 8 fights between 147 and 154, and 5-6 of them have been HOF'ers that he's beaten. I want someone to explain to me how he's been a "ducker" since 2007? 8 fights and the only 2 that people complain about are Guerrero and Ortiz who at the time were considered pretty dam good fighters in their own right.

Since 07 he has wins over DLH, Mosley, JMM, Cotto and Hatton. That's 5 sure fire HOF'ers there. Than he had a huge win over a "dangerous" Alvarez who while still being a neophyte in the boxing game, does look like he can have a very good career that can turn into a HOF'er down the road.

FLoyd's enhanced his resume big time since fighting at WW and JMW. At least 5 HOF scalps on his resume since 07. That doesn't feel like a cherrypicker to me.

Cotto doesn't have a good resume, he has lost all of his big fights. His best wins are a 36 year old Mosely, and against a Margarito who had just gotten pulverized twice, first by brutal KO, and then having his eye socket broken by Pac. In the first fight, Margarito made him kneel and quit. His resume is absolutely no good.

Tim Bradley is building an impressive resume thus far, but has a way to go.

Pacquiao would be the top contender to challenging Floyd's resume. I don't put much stock in the wins he used weight draining to kill guys, so Cotto, Margarito, and old DLH aren't big wins to me. However, he has some great wins on his resume, no doubt. Destroying Ledwaba on two weeks notice was very legit, got him on the map. The destruction of Barerra is a great win as well, no doubt. The Marquez fights are heavily disputed, but he has 2 wins, a draw, and a loss against him on his record, two wins against Marquez on your record is very good. Erik Morales was shot in the last two fights when Pac won, but Morales was still decent. He rounds it out with guys like Hatton, Diaz, Mosely etc. Pretty solid resume, it could challenge Floyd's

the final question goes back to you fmj fans, why doesn't floyd still do not fight pacman when you say it's an easy fight and it will generate tons of money and make him greater? you should be asking fmj to do it once and for all for your satisfaction instead of keeping on defending his alibis. you keep saying he is great but .............but, but, .......all day long

Bob Arum probably has Marquez ringside for Manny-Bradley II.

Manny has some good fights out there, not involving Mayweather... besides, Mayweather would whoop his arse.

    Whatever roadblock it takes.

Like I already said in 2011. The fight will never happen because Floyd doesn't want it at all and Pac doesn't want it enough.
