Its so odd that Bradley has gained more respect in losing than winning...

bradley wanted badly to gain the respect of boxing fans...he definitely gained the respect of the majority of fans...but in the process achieved it through defeat, not victory...

Because people are idiots and are FAKE. Oh he lost, aww, he's admitting defeat, he's such a humble guy. It's bull****. No fighter admits they lost and Bradley got too much stick for that and HBO brought it up in interviews every single chance they got. HBO brought it up so much, even in other fights. It was sickening.

He gained the respect of the fans after going thru hell and back versus Provodnikov. Beating Marquez added to it.

Tonight he showed his heart again.

Pretty much this. Also he would have gained even more respect if he won tonight. Fans just dont respect a robbery, although that wasn't Tim's fault, cant control the judges. Tim himself always showed himself to be class and nothing but of good character. In fact him admitting he needed to watch the tapes post fight was probably as close to any fighter admitting defeat in an awarded win.

Yeah although saying the stick he got about the robbery in the first fight made him suicidal was a pretty sad thing to say. I find it hard to believe that Timothy ever really considered taking his own life. Even the way he said it was half hearted. He was just trying to endear himself to the crowd.

That said I've always respected him as a fighter and generally nice guy. Limited in most respects at world level yet he consistently finds a way to beat fighters who on paper hold all the advantages over him. Also went on the road to win his first world title. Unbelievable heart and courage.

people like heart and good sportsmanship. Losing is no big deal in boxing if you lose with class and no excuses.

He would've had more fans if he admitted he lost the first one immediately and said I'd give Pac a rematch asap.

I never have had a problem with Bradley.

it just made me made he acted like he beat Pac easy the first fight he clearly lost.

Tim knows he lost to PAC
