I really hope Cotto pulls this off. If he does that would be a great way to finish his career.

I believe that Martinez is overrated and past it, so its a 50/50 fight.

If Martinez is totally healed and healthy he is going to beat the brakes off of Cotto. Cotto hasn't showed me anything to make me think otherwise.

 

I'm afraid he's right. Sergio Martinez will dominate Cotto. I like Miguel, but I hope this is his last fight. He seems like a nice guy like Shane Mosley... I don't wanna see either one of them best up.

I wouldn't mind this being a swan song for Sergio Martinez too.

If Martinez is healed cotto doesn't stand a chance. Cotto couldn't beat a slick southpaw like trout whose levels below Martinez. He got koed by a southpaw like pacquiao and although he did beat a faded chop chop Corley, Corley buzzed him and also it was stopped early. This is not to say Corey would win but cotto is not very good with southpaws.

 

Martinez has been figthting bigger dudes his while life.

 

Why should Cotto retire? You idiots are always hoping somebody retires after they lose a couple of fights, thats what happens in boxing when you start moving up in weights for most boxers...you lose. Cotto shouldn't retire after he loses to Martinez, he should drop back to 154.
