No, because he can't box long. He's an athletic and explosive inside fighter. But clueless when someone sticks a jab in his face. Wait and see.

He isn't ready for any of those names you've mentioned.

Also Billy Joe Saunders has called for a fight with him a good few times now which has fallen on deaf ears.

George Groves does rave a bit about him though and always uses him for sparring in camp.

Not sure what Ryder has done to get so much love on ESB. Good guy, decent ability but I think young chris gives him a comprehensive loss.

Not even close..... If his surname wasn't "Eubank" we wouldn't be talking about him right now, end of story.

he is the most exciting british middleweight to watch at the minute in my opnion, has power speed and skill. never seen him in a dull fight yet, can see by the shape hes in that he takes the sport serious, again tho for some reason unknown to me people slate him and post negative **** about him,

Eubank Jr is improving, nice and steady, how far he goes I have no idea but he has not done much wrong up to now.

After his fight Saturday Ronnie Davis said something along the lines of "another 5 fights and then he'll be ready for a title fight".

I actually like the fact he is not being rushed because he did not have much of an amateur career, his surname alone will always create interest so just let him learn his trade.

I would like to see Jr Vs Adam Etches soon, seems a natural fight to make.

  9. yeah they are exactly at the same stage of the careers.. both seem about the same level... yet hardly anyone is talking about Etches yet everyone is talking about Eubank jnr cause of his dad

I think he is a very exciting prospect but we have some exciting prospects and middleweight and at Super Middle. I mean Billy Joe Saunders in boxing wise is techinically very good. He does lack a bit of power which is a bit worrying. We also have Adam Etches. His power is fantastic and he takes guys out.

We have Callum Smith, Rocky Fielding and a few others.

After three good opponents last year he has gone back to fighting people without pulses.

Hoepfully he can get a decent opponent and boxnation can build him v saunders.

I think he's working a lot in the gym, seems never to have gotten out of middle gear in his fights and has obviously been experimenting. Not so sure about 'impersonating' his dad....although...if your dad was a great boxer then that's no bad thing!
Also, I hear that Snr tried NOT to have his son(s) get into boxing, I think that the drive to prove doubters wrong may help Jr. One thing I will say though, you CANNOT inherit a chin and that's what you need at elite level to rise to the top.
I think his speed and skills are a match for anyone right now, no doubt experience will help with mental versatility, focus and toughness.....I agree with all here asking for meaningful fights with the 'in-and-around' fighters on the British domestic scene. Then we'll se for sure what the young(ish) man's got...

Eubanks would beat Etches with ease

Don't you think that also works the other way as well, his name is Eubank so he sometimes gets unfair stick.

What do you think has changed that has made him start knocking people out?
