What are the chances that this happens? Could he be looking to make a statement to the Ukrainian people or to make up for the lackluster Povetkin bout?

Or will it be another ugly fight?

Another ugly bout. He needs to sell the fight.

Just like how Mormeck was the 'French Mike Tyson'... Was he?? WAS HE?!?!?!?!

Yeah my orignal prediction was that this was going to be a rough and dirty fight because Leapai likes to apply the pressure and does a fair amount of wrestling himself when on the inside.

I gotta say I hope Wlad comes to bang, I'd love to see Leapai land one of his wild haymaker combos lol, or Wlad KO'ing this guy impressively in a couple rounds. Either way still going to tune in and I am looking forward to it.

My prediction. Wlad will carry Leapai for 12 rounds. Then Leapai will be sellable to the dumb Brit audience for Price/Fury/Chisora as 'the man who lasted the distance with Wlad'

I doubt that will happen. Leapai isn't known for being in condition to go 12 rounds without tiring or at least taking breaks. He also often basically wastes energy while trying to land a big shot. Unless he significantly improved his stamina, he will be tired after about 6 rounds. My prediction is that Klitschko will stop him in the first half of the fight.

Should work out fine if he does, Leapai is slow as **** and has been stopped before..... it's not like Wladimir would be entering a danger zone by doing going toe to toe.

Wlad wins this fight however he wants, Leapai is an overmatched mandatory... This will be one of those fights where Wlad lands 30-40 jabs a round, Leapai is getting stopped in the early rounds.

I'm not quite sure what you're alluding to, but if it's what I think it is, a pretty much prime CHAMPION CRUISERWEIGHT.... Compared to a near 40 year old washed up fighting as a Heavyweight...

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make?

Why not compare Frazier's beating of Ali, compared to Berbick's?

he could open up on Leapai and show his skills/power for a change, especially since Leapai will most likely gas after 3 rounds

What is it with people on this forum and their obsession with nationality and race?

That's like me saying chisora carried scott for a few rounds to make him a believable opponent for wilder and the dumb American audience...complete bull****.

    Agreed.

Leapai has nearly zero head movement.

Wlad will jab and jab and circle the ring and when he starts unleashing his right hand after the jab, it is over.

The fight goes 4, 5 rounds tops. Wlad will play it safe keeping the much slower and plodding Leapai at bay with the jab and than hold on. When he realizes this fraud can never catch him him start unleashing on him forcing a stoppage at that time. His fans will point to this as another successful title defense and how he really is exciting and than call everyone who doesn't agree with them hater, racist and troll. Book mark this post for accuracy.

Wlad will carry him for a bit, make the advertisers happy, then take him out somewhere in the middle rounds.

Wlad has never gone toe to toe with anyone. He's afraid to get hit and goes into panic mode when he's clipped nicely clean.

A guy that isn't afraid to get hit doesn't fight like he does. People say Ward and Mayweather are safety first guys - they throw lots of punches still and have been in fights. Wlad jabs and grabs, the most cowardly style possible in boxing and gets away with it due to size and strength.

Toe to toe? Nonsense. He goes toe to toe with anyone and it's back to crawling on the canvas.
