You know you don't make any ****ing sense? First of all Bernard is a lengend in the sport and a household name and doesn't need to piggy bank of off a guy who until recently was fighting on the undercard of Adonis Stevenson's fights. Who the **** is Kovalev?
Secondly, the man was asked a question about a fellow belt holder in his division and he replied accordingly. If that qualifies as piggy banking that means 90 percent of top boxers are piggy banking of off other fighters name.

You are not really a boxing fan are you? I know that you don't have the slightest idea of what is going through Bernard's head. How can you say that nobody cared about the former undisputed MW Champion of the World and a 3 time LHWT Champion? And just for the record I love his foul filled, spoiling style more than anything else cause this is no tickling game.Only a ******ed person would believe that Bernard would believe that Kovalev would surely damege him badly and kill his ego. And Kovalev's english is not even poor, his russian must be also very limited.

First, that more than ever, Hopkins doesn't need Kovalev.
More, Hopkins never gets intimidated with huge men in front of him so the game is all mental and Kovalev is as green as the grass we walk on in the early Spring. He can't box, he can't even build up a good fight by himself, he's nota good partner to do business with and promote a good fight like Stevenson.
Furthermore, Kovalev will learn that this is not his time, his weigh class/division or his sport. Bernard loyal army of fans despize the mad red army of newbies. They should never have been given a chance. Too much greed, no knowledge, no class, no chance to make it!

    Bernard Hopkins.

    Is a household name.

    HAHAHAHA

Holy shlt. You are joking. He's known as "the guy who fought Jones/DLH/Trinidad"

Ward looks like Mayweather compared to Hopkins.

Hopkins is a legend. An all-time great. If no one cares about Bernard Hopkins, why is he the topic of this thread? If no one cares about him, why is his portrait going in the Smithsonian? Frankly, many more people care about BHop than the thread starter (and probably anyone else on this forum, myself included)

If Hopkins isn't a household name, then what does that make Kovalev? Hopkins is a household name, especially compared to Kovalev. And I'm a fan of Kovalev.
