I didn't ever have Bradley in my top 10 p4p honestly, although that is subjective. I didn't think he schooled Marquez, that was actually a pretty close fight. A schooling is something like Hopkins vs Tito where one guy embarrasses another, Marquez and Bradley had a competitive fight. He hardly squeeked by Providnikov, and lost he lost the first encounter with Pacquiao, he was never top 10 in my book. I do think he is a very good fighter, don't get me wrong, but he was never in my top 10 p4p, nor would I ever see justification for him being there.

Besides that, we all know circular reasoning doesn't work. If fighter A beats fighter B, and fighter B beat fighter C, that does not mean fighter A will beat fighter C. Styles make fights, that's why Floyd won all 12 against Marquez, who knocked Pacquaio out; Pacquiao however annihilated Cotto, but Cotto gave Floyd a good challenge. The triangulation theories simply don't work in boxing dude, they have zero credence.

So I'm going to ask you again, did Bradley win or lose the first match with Pacquiao? It has been pretty much universally declared a Pacquiao win, so I'm assuming you agree with that conclusion? If so, how can you now say Pacquaio beat an undefeated fighter this time around? Which one is it exactly?

Too bad pacquiao lost to Bradley officially but defeats Bradley in the 2nd. It was a robbery but at least we know PAC can beat a young undefeated slick and black fighter. Bradley is one tough dude!

Pacquiao de-slicked Bradley just like Ledwaba, another slick and prime fighter.

To answer the question, Canelo tries to be slick but he was borderline top 10 p4p fighter at the time and his inclusion was somewhat influenced by GBP.

You know as well as I do you think Pacquiao won the first fight, that was an almost unanimous consensus, especially among Pac fans. You just said it was a robbery, so we both know Bradley was not an undefeated fighter, he lost the first match between the two. Good fighter, good win for Pac, Bradley was not undefeated though.

Have you seen both of those matches? Pacquiao fought nothing similar in either of the two. Ledwaba is now considered a slickster? No sir he was not, he was a good puncher, but certainly no slickster. I thought Pacquiao did look very impressive vs Ledwaba though, not so much Bradley. Against Bradley both times he was extremely inaccurate, and didn't seem to have his killer instinct at all. Bradley was actually fighting pretty good early on in the second, but started being an idiot, trying to rope a dope. He claims he was hurt, I don't really know myself.

Bradley always makes for a tough and ugly fight. He ducks very low and has good head movement. He's not a pure slickster since he can fight head-on like the Provo and Pac2 fight. We all know Marques struggles with the Slick boxer type as we seen with Chris John, Mayweather and Bradley.

I decided to take out time to search within to see why I did not like manny pacquiao.

Imagine, this man has the rags to riches story, is humble, friendly, 8 division champion, has been in the top 10 p4p for so long, won fighter of the decade, ......The list goes on and on.

I came to the conclusion that a part of me thought he was not playing fair and using undue advantage by presumably taking peds and not willing to clear himself by taking the test.

My argument is that he picks and chooses when to undergo a random blood test depending on if he thinks the other fighter might be suspicious. Won't take for floyd, but would take for rios ( cos of ariza) won't take for bradley but wants for marquez 5
( cos of the knockout and marquesses new found power)

That double standard for something this serious to a competitors health and life, actually fuels my dislike even when I should show no bias and enjoy quality boxing, fighting, slugging or brawling.

Since then I became biased towards him and that has remained ever since.

As I grow older and become to appreciate the sport better, I am beginning to have an open mind to the voice of reason

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH EXPLANATIONS SO THAT I CHANGE MY PRECONCEPTIONS AND START GIVING PACQUIAO THE CREDIT HE DESERVES...... I need logical, honest and credible answers please.

    Thanks.

    2slick2black.

Whenever you spend an entire fight blocking punches with your face against a can like Provo, you should never be considered slick.

I was thinking the same thing. Also when you throwing wild punches with your eyes closed how the hell can you be considered slick.

Yes, some argue that Cotto and Margo fought for the vacant title. Margo won it, and then lost it to Mosley, who then lost it to Mayweather.
