How come everybody conveniently forgets pacquiao was knocked down ith that fight before the knockout? Or was the kid lucky as well? Just saying though.
I see Pac on a fairly regular basis (he loves playing basketball nearby) and I can tell you that the dude looks lean like his muscles atrophies or something, when he isn't training for a fight yet. His arms and chest are noticeably leaner. The only thing that I think kinda gets maintained are his huge calves. So it's not impossible to think that he is indeed around 142 during this time. But sure, I'll ask him next time if there is anything true about his walking weight being 142. Dude is cool, sociable and humble as hell, maybe he'd even step on a scale for the fun of it.
i think people would be more inclined to give marquez respect iof he hadnt turned up to that fight clearly full of steroids he was fat against flloyd - a fight he clearly would have taken seriously - yet massive, ripped and popping out with vains when he fought pac outside of the testing weather pac used or denied drug tests in the past or not is another matter - JMM clearly developed knockout power through other sources... therefore he loses respect anyone can go down off a punch, a clear cut knock out in a 4th fight suggest something funny
I asked him if Rios had serious punching power and all he said was "let us not treat Rios that way" (as if to insinuate that I was making fun of Rios since he did beat the crap out of him). Dude is real class. It's not just all for show. Not sure if I can get him to respond about "missing Ariza's shakes". :rofl I do know for a fact that there is no bad blood between them, at least that's what he says.
So Jmm loses respect, but Manny a former flyweight gets off the hook for ktfo*career 140lber Hatton? You can't be serious.
He weighed in at 151 against bradley, fight night weight. Roach is talking garbage, you don't put on 6lbs but naturally weigh 142 lol trust me. Finally, iv been saying for ages manny hasn't 'lost' his power, he's just fighting bigger guys and can't hurt them... i assure you if he went back down to 40 he'd have more chance to ko ppl.. just like floyd would.. He never had crazy power coming up from 30+ he just was wayyyy too fast for guys and when you don't see flurrys of 3's and 4's i'm sure they'd hurt smaller guys.
LM would murder pac in brutal fashion. 3/4 max. DG is a winnable fight or both, 50/50 there LP is the ONLY fight i could see pac being a clear favorite but he could still lose
From a pure performance standpoint, 140 would've been Pac's best weight over the past few years anyways. I like this move. Easy to see this is setting up for a Mikey Garcia fight soon enough....
Roach has been promising a Pac win by KO for so long he's thinking 140 is the only way to get that. Ariza shake days are long gone!
good trainers realise that what they think, and what is correct, dont always line up. Roach is on the money with this 140lb idea.:good:rasta
so no one else knows how to make a shake???:think:think:think Bradley and Pac had moments when they rocked each other in the second fight. The power level and chin durability must be factored into any reasonable discussion before reverting back to the "Ariza shakes" scenario dontcha think?:think:thumbsup
