Floyd never fought at 26, we'd never know.

But the fact of the matter is that he would have been swiftly destroyed by Floyd at 130, where they were both at during the same time period.

    Casa ducked him.

    Nothing more nothing less.

Good choice though. Casa would have been utterly annihilated. :yep

And for the many fans here saying Casamayor wouldn't stood a chance simply because he didn't look perfect in his other fights it's simply ignorant. We all know that styles make fights and that everyone ( yes, even Floyd ) could have a hard time against an specific style than others find pretty easy. All I say is that Casamayor's style gave everyone problems even when he boxed at 135 when it was out of his weight range...

Floyd struggled with a past his prime Chicanito who was a great technical fighter I think he'd struggle greatly with smart southpaws like Johnston or Casamayor.

I do believe that Floyd's first pro fights were at 126 pounds but it doesn't really say in his record ...

You defend your fighter and I defend mine but the truth is that no one really knows what would've happened.

    Is all speculations.

Agreed. We don't know how the fight would have played out, but we can also agree that Casamayor didn't want the fight .

I agree, but Casamayor could've also beat May in a chess match as well.

Let's break this down better, you left out many important points ...

Casamayor ridiculed and stopped Corrales in their first fight, then lost to him in a very tight second match ( which he deserved to win ) but later managed to beat him on their third fight. ;)

Casamayor did enough to win the Freitas match even though he fought a very defensive minded fight. He scored the most, cleaner and better punches against Freitas but we all know what happened at the hands of the judges.

Casamayor vs Castillo was an extremely non-action and tight fight were neither fighter did anything really. The judges decided to give it to Castillo as he " pressed the action " and Casa was on the beach ... :-(

Casamayor was 38 years old when he fought Marquez and thus he had seen his better years and still was giving Marquez a really good tight fight until he got caught.

    This explains things much better.

That's funny, you are talking to a guy who knew Casamayor personally! Me and El Cepillo were buddies back then, so I know more about him than most of you here! ;)

Mayweather by clear decision in an ugly fight. He would get the straight right hand. Casamayor would try to headbutt Mayweather approximately 232 times and Mayweather would respond with 232 forearms.

he never called out neither guy, merchant ask him about a possible fight with Casamayor and he couldn't respond with the stuttering, JC had a great chin in his prime and floyd has never being a ko artist, 50/50 fight and to be honest I think floyd doesn't like to fight lefties...
