I can see you are a Porter fan , there is no issue with that , just dont give him too much of a chance against Mosley please.

I think Porter is an ordinary prime Welterweight undefeated belt holder in his prime....just like Mosley was at 147

I rank Mosley high at 135

Julio Diaz who dropped Khan...the same Khan who beat Maidana...the same Maidana who is about to face Mayweather :conf

Or we can judge each fighter by his belt and record...where ever you go...Porter is not thay far fron Mosley in a Welterweight duel...

    Mosley was 7-5 in Welterweight

First man to beat a prime Oscar. Post Margarito even the one that lost to Floyd Porter wouldn't last 5 rounds with. Forrest(rip) was a monster at 147 and the past his prime one that lost a close fight to Cotto , Cotto was lucky wasn't a 15 round fight Mosley was busting him up late very badly. Who did Porter beat again? What killers? Faded Diaz and overrated Alexander? No disrespect to Porter he's a good champ, but Porter would just be a contender during the Oscar era. As would Alexander, Maidana, Marquez, Pacquaio , Bradley. They'd stay in their natural weight divisions if this era wasn't so weak.

Keith Thurman flattens everybody in Welterweight today, I feel Porter is as difficult as Mayweather...weak era agreed.

    Tito-Quartey-DLH-Mosley was too stacked

Still I felt Mosley had a stylistic advantage over DLH...Quartey and Tito styles would have hurt Mosley more.

Bring Oba Carr who was a contnder then and he probably gives Mayweather the fight of his life :deal

Carr gave Quartey a tough fight and made Oscar **** his trunks. Dlh tho had changed his style by the Mosley rematch he had Mosley beat at 154. Thanks to Manny Steward Oscar used the right hand more. Even Mosley said in between rounds he couldn't handle Oscar's jabs\hooks. The 2002 Oscar was obviously not the same fighter he was at 147. Mosley found that out and lucky to get a gift. Even 2nd tier ww's like Carr, Rivera, Page, Lopez, especially Lopez, and a faded Whitaker that Oscar should of drawn, today's ww's dont have a chance. Thurman is the only true ww has the potential to be the next ww ruler for a longtime. Or go wreak havoc at 154, but wiser for him to stay at 147 for the time being.

Keith Thurman should never leave Welterweight, moving up to 154 proves nothing...makes him smaller, lazier and has no point

If he wants HOF, ATG route...stick around Welterweight, become Undisputed break necks and allow nobody a say in Welterweight...much more impressive than quacking into other divisions

    :hi:
Carr was a solid contender, his misfortune was that he had to face Trinidad in Welterweight...usually fighters lose something after Trinidad breaks them down...mentally more than anything...Tito literally destroyed the confidence of his opponents one punch at a time :conf

Qullin and Tito too big for Thurman, I slightly favor Thurman over Mosley/Porter

To be fair we might not have seen the best of Porter or Quillin or even Thurman so I'll reserve my thoughts on them, but KT looks like he has the goods man. Mosley and Tito set a high bar for the next gen of wws.

Trinidad is #2 ATG at Welterweight going 16-0-0-0 (KO 12) in title fights, Mosley went 7-5 not a top 10 ATG at Welterweight

Keith Thurman best route to outdo the greats, is by becoming Undisputed and facing mandatory fights at a high pace...that way he can match Armstrong/Tito big #s...he can't match SRL by quality as SRL faced very few but high quality losing once...and SRR stands far away at. Welterweight not losing, only blemish is ducking Burley...while Tito only blemish is the DLH fight weak decision...Armstrong quality opposition and losses below welter weakens his staggering legacy...SRL loss to Duran coming from,135 and few fights puts him a bit down...after that its an open field
