Spoke to him at the echo arena liverpool seemed a genuine nice bloke. Had a great career! If he had of fought Steve molitor instead of going to japan he would've been a world champion ! Best of luck mate !!
Good career with some good wins, beat Martinez twice and beat Terrazas, both went on to be world champions. Never got the credit he deserved which is a shame especially when you see guys like Cleverly and Bellew getting no end of undeserved coverage.
That was very emotional at the end, the interview with him breaking down... Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age. I hope he has a happy retirement and just moves on with his life.
Best of luck with whatever you do with the rest of your life Rendall. Was a touching moment at the end, hope he finds a good life after boxing.
He seemed to blank Eddie after he gave him a decent and respectful little speech/sending off. What was that about? Anything or nothing?
It was emotional I am gutted for him he seems like he does to know to do now he was genuinely gutted. I wish him all the best and he should look back on his career with pride. Never won a world title but he deserves the admiration for the way he has been. Good luck bin man
All the best the boxing binman still think he has it just taking fights he can't win but good decision wish him all the best
Uhhhhh nice speech yes but it came after Eddie lurking over Warrington's shoulder like a vulture with his Cheshire Cat grin all through Munroe's teary farewell to his fans...and Eddie made sure to cheerily plug his next show before addressing Munroe with quickly glommed-on solemnity. His words to Munroe did seem genuinely meant but he was a bit tactless and sleazy overall.
Yeah but a little sense of propriety and not being a dick about the order things are done or getting them done without managing to wipe the smirk off your face goes a long way...
not really, he seemed genuine, munroe can cry all he likes but warrington is a good boxer and eddie will surely be showing interest, pass on the torch and warrington may go further he looked very sharp. the chesire cat reference is funny tho
