I dont understand why he never went up to 147 where all the real big names were.

    Outclassed Forrest in the Ams.
    Kosta was something else.

Hatton had it all his own way and Kosta was semi-retired.
    Semi-retired perhaps being generous even.

I think Tszyu suffered not from a lack of skill ... but a lack of big name opponents. Without writing a detailed breakdown:

    * one of the best amateurs of all time
    * got a championship belt very quickly (14th? Pro fight)
    * beat some fighters who pre-tszyu were considered A class .. judah, mitchell, gonzales and many ex worls champions .. unfortunately post tszyu they accumulated losses that made them look worse on paper
    * challenged multiple fighters like mayweather, de la hoya and gatti but because of showtime and/or the unexpected loss to phillips, lost the opportunity
    * challenged spinks for a 147 unifying fight .. terms weren't reached, fought Hatton instead
    * on the Hatton fight .. I'm always confused why people actuallu attack tszyu on this fight. It was his last foght before retiring, and his own trainer said he was old. If you judge Tszyu by his last fight you must judge other fighters for their last fights too
    * absolutely agree he lacks a big name on the resume ... so unfortunately he finished with a question mark which means threads like this will always come up and ultimately .. no one can definitively say whethr he could or could not have beaten a de la hoya, mosely, mayweather, etc. At his best he was a machine with underated.boxing skills

Tszyu was a great fighter, you should have seen him as an amateur. He was the first to beat Judah in Judah's prime, made Judah do the funky chicken..........

    :rofl

Idiot got knocked down. Jumps right up on spaghetti legs, then stumbles and falls down again while ref is starting the count. That is not a bad stoppage.
