How in the **** is Khan even in the running for a Floyd fight? He went life and death with Julio Diaz. And don't tell me it's because of the styles, because Floyd is better than Khan in every aspect. Floyd might not be able to knock Khan out, but he would figure him out in two rounds MAX. He would time Khan all night long.
He is one of the bigger names in the division. It's not necessarily based on merit. And yes, Khan barely has a snowball's chance in hell.
Diaz did better against Porter than he did against Khan yet everyone seems to be calling for Floyd-Porter now Julio Diaz is underrated as a WW and would give a lot of guys trouble. He'd beat Malignaggi thats for sure

the fight should not be giving to khan if he cant beat a ww champ. and if khan gets pass collazo thats a big if he still dont get floyd. khan needs to beat a world champ at 147 and i dont he can. khan, ortiz, berto they all in the same boat and its sinking.
If Maidana hadn't beat a highly over rated and terrible WW in Broner people would be complaining Maidana has only beaten Bums. Yet somehow beating Berto 2 is enough to get a Floyd fight. Khan stylistically is a greater challenge than Maidana.
"How is Khan in the running for a Floyd fight?" Why, because boxing is a business and wouldn't exist if not for financial profit.
While Porter's demolition of Malignaggi was very impressive. You could argue that Collazo is perhaps the more difficult opponent. Even though he lacks that signature win, many feel he deserved decisions vs. Hatton and Berto. Of course I see how one could argue that Porter is much more deserving but let's see how Khan looks in this next fight before we jump the gun.
