Porter would need to do more things to become great enough that his in ring accomplishment makes up for his lack of drawing power.

 

Every boxer was someones sparring partner at one point when they were young prospects. People act as if sparring partner is a bad thing when everyone has been one at one time for a bigger name fighter.

The only fight from this list that makes sense is Porter v Thurman. Peterson and Lucas aren't even WWs. If Mayweather beats Maidana, the fights that make the most sense and $$$ are at WW. They couldn't sell Mayweather v Garcia just yet, but Porter v Thurman for a Title Unification against Mayweather is what you do.
