Doesn't make sense to me. You move against Guerrero, but then you stay in the pocket against a bigger and stronger Canelo.

Now he's saying that you want to stand right in front and trade with a huge puncher in Maidana.

What does PBF have up his sleeve:think

Guerrero is an excellent inside fighter. He's adept at mauling you on the inside. However, his feet aren't as fast as Mayweather. Mayweather could've stood his ground and won a ugly, mauling 7-5 or 8-4 type decision. Or, he could've used his legs beat Guerrero with little trouble.

Canelo is not much of an inside fighter. Standing in front of him poses little threat to Mayweather. Maidana has a better inside offensive game. However, he's not a mauler and his defense on the insde isn't great. It's also much easier to avoid those wide, looping shots if you're fighting a guy on the inside.

I still expect Mayweather to use some movement to reposition himself, but he has the opportunity to have a lot of success standing right in front of Maidana.

    Proving a point.

Hes showing that he can stand in front of a big punching slugger, and still beat him

    OH SMACK!!

It sounds like Maidana is in for a serious ass whupping.
Mayweather plans on making a statement by beating up Maidana like he beat Augustus down and getting a late fight stoppage.

Hopefully maidana can take this ass whupping and still come back to fight another day.

Floyd will stand his ground like he did against Cotto and Shane. I expect multiple knockdowns of Marcos not a KO though.

if he stand in front and does what he does, he should get a KO. Only thing that would surprise people is a KO. I know hes been thinking about it and its been awhile so he might go for it

Maidana can't fight as well backing up. It will take away from his offense and power if he's on the back foot. Floyd will move when he needs to, but I wouldn't be surprised if he backs Maidana up a bit.

Mayweather is stronger on the inside than some people realize.
