I feel we should see the best Khan in terms of being healthy fully hydrated ready to go, Khan has been around just under 160lbs for this camp and the muscles/body have grown into the full welterweight limit, this is I believe his natural weight now.

Mentally too Khan has more or less been in camp for around 7-8 months on and off now so we should deffo see an improvement in his approach and mind set.

This is a high stage for Khan being the Co-Main event too a Floyd Mayweather PPV card, even the American young star Broner did not get this slot so Khan now has to perform, Khan has also never fought in the MGM Grand.

The stage is set to impress the boxing world and make his debut at the 147 weight class as Collazo is a decent first fight at this weight.

Sorry I can't agree, just two/three months ago Khan was claiming he was ready to beat Mayweather at 147 so Luis Collazo is a massive step down from those boasts.

The stage is set to make Khan look good and the only reason Collazo represents any sort of danger is because Khan chin seems to let him down at the most important moments. Julio Diaz dropped Khan heavy last time out and had him in trouble a few times so that is why this fight is slightly interesting.

As for Collazo, Well he was getting beat by Hatton 8 years ago and has done virtually nothing of note since. I keep asking the question: What is Collazo's best win? and I keep getting the same answer... a shot, uninterested, quitter in Ortiz.

It is not a decent test or even a decent fight, it is a hand picked fighter at 147 who they feel represents the least danger and I do not think anybody can be impressed with Khan for beating Collazo if you consider most of the names currently in the top 20 Welters Khan could have fought and made a bigger statement.

It's make or break for his career....

And IMO he can only win this by looking gd, if it goes into the trenches and turns dirty I think Callazo is the only winner

Has this been confirmed as co-main as opposed to undercard?

Nothing in this thread regarding his weight, abilities etc have all been said before and despite being world level he has been found wanting at crucial moments

    :yep

Unfortunately he looked totally shot v Diaz, if he takes a beating against Collazo, I think he could seriously continue retirement.

Khan will win but it will be edge of the seat stuff like most of his fights- cant see him blowing Collazo away or anything it will be gritty, war with Louis hurting him and having him in trouble along the way. Who knows whether it will be enough to get Showtime to sanction a Mayweather fight

We will see but one things for sure it will be exciting he always is
My main concern with khan is not just his chin but at the top level i dont think he hits hard enough and fighters walk through him and the current welter are very good
