He somehow survived but he has flashbacks.

 

The referee bears an uncanny resemblance to Joe's dad, Enzo Calzaghe!

 

This just goes to show how terrible British reffing, Calzaghe had nothing to do with these **** poor stoppages..... Don't know why the detractors use this as fuel against him???? Lots of British fighters have these kind of stoppages on their resume, just look at Chisoras recent fights! All though Calzaghes are far worse, point still stands... This it's more of a testimony of how bad the reffing is over there across the board. I would never fight in England against a British fighter, never....

Funny and terrible all rolled into a loaf of bull**** stoppage

 

doesnt matter, half of his fights could have been continued and the result would have been UD not TKO but who cares, its not like the other guys would actually win if not for the early stoppage.

 

so why was he fighting such a weakling?
