Frampton was said to have poor ratings on Sky by Eddie Hearn. Burns would probably be into 6 figures but not that high if the other given number is anything to go by.

Yeah but not every BN subscriber is going to watch every bill, so viewing figures will be less mate. Plus BN having 110-120,000, were does that info come from? Gut feeling that's a sales pitch

Indeed, that's my point, doubt any fight gets more than 50k viewers unless they're all like terminator x and just sit on the couch all day and watch it

Well speaking for myself when Frampton fought i was at a mates house and their was 12 of us watching so number of subscribers does not equal viewers i'd hazzard a guess and say their were many groups of lads watching the Frampton fight especially in Ireland.

why the hate towards boxnation. Its a brilliant channel for a true boxing fan ,boxing on 24hrs a day its brilliant ,Also you don't have to subscribe to sky to get it .So for £12 a month i get a 24hour a day boxing channel
sky sports costs at least £40 per month with very little boxing on it as box nation has taken over as the channel for true boxing fans.
Do you work for sky Pro Hunter ? with all your negativity you come a cross as a bit of a helmet

What do you watch 24 hours a day?

The channel is on the way out now. :patsch

As there is no demand for Boxnation in pubs, no new subscribers waiting around the corner, hardly any domestic fights on the garden shed of boxing - the channel is doomed. :happy

Boxnation is an irrelevance to 99.99% of the sporting public in the UK and simply a matter of time before this non viable channel is switched off.

The future is boxing on multi sport channels through Sky and BT with the odd big fight shown on Eurosport and a few domestic fights on terrestrial channels. :happy

Accept the facts and move on. :rasta

Are you just going to cut and paste the same responces on every thread relating to BN?

How about this - tell us WHEN BN is going to fold since your so adament that it will- people like u said it wouldn't last 6 months and that was about 3 years ago

Look the station may well fold one day who knows but right now instead of going backwards as time goes on it's going forward I.e recent HD channel, more promoters working with them so were getting domestic action nearly every week, new flash studio, PPV option in development etc- so if by spending more and more money on improvements is because where going to wake up next week and be told the station is off air then fair enough I'll take that and enjoy it while it lasts.

The channel is being heavily subsidised and any business needs to make profit to continue when the backers subsidy has run dry.

What you have pointed out is extra COSTS but where are the new subscribers coming from to pay for it?

The current business model of simply increasing prices by £2 each year for a continual declining subscriber base is a cycle of decline.

It is doomed I say - doomed :patsch

Even Terminator X is in deep depression after the facts were pointed out.

Instead of watching 25 repeats of Poncey's boxing hour every week - he may now go out and find a job

Why do people want BN to fail, i understand why you might think it will valid reasons to think that way, but seems to me many on ESB actually want the channel to fail, i thought this was a forum used by boxing fans, what kind of a boxing fan wants a dedicated boxing channel to fail?

The home of boxing has turned into the garden shed of boxing and people have long memories generally having a dislike for pranky boy.

Geezus Christ. I ventured over here to read about Quigg vs Frampton and all you crumpet munchers want to yammer on about is broadcasting/ channel crap.

    :patsch

Growing interest over in the States about Frampton vs LSC. Not so much about Quigg.
