I said it before the fight.
No improvement in fact a deterioration in skill from his first fight.
If I were training him the first thing you would scream at him is to move your head.
No movement no foot work nothing.
Pathetic training and a lucky win against Borsoy fluked him the Klit fight.
I say lucky because the overseas rumour is that he has been shot for a while due to injuries.
When he became mandatory he was in a great position to demand a high fee if not the the fight would have gone to a purse bid.
Nothing to do with good management.

He came highest weight of his career. He didn't take the fight seriously, just wanted the payday.

When your offered a world title bout, you take it, could have taken a slower approach, been beaten on the way and NEVER had the chance of a title shot, or a 1.5 mill payday, I think you have absolutely no idea, he was beaten by a man on a mission to give his countrymen faith, klitchco was never going to loose that fight, all Alex could do was his best, that wasn't good enough, respect to him for getting there :happy:happy:happy:happy

Hey buck o in Australia most pro fighters have to sell tickets to there own fights. So if you get offered million plus for a fight u take it. It's a no brainer really he has a family doesn't have any other skills to earn a million so yeah your hater post makes no sense.

I heard and saw before that Leapai's best tools are the right overhand and the uppercut. He didn't throw any of those, I wonder why. It was a pathetic performance and in the shape he was indicates his trainers did an awful job for this fight.

When did you last GIVE away a house, that's what your literally alluding too f'wit I think making his life easier is a bit more important to him than giving a **** what a dik like you thinks. Totally agree. Who would knock back a million bucks? Everyone on this forum would fight him for that coin. I'd personally take that fight on 1 hours notice after a night on the cans.

For sure PIRA your right Alexs career is over at the top level - the fight proved that he was out of his depth at championship level [ hes one dimensional and only has a 1st gear and his skill base is probably the worst any heavy contender has ever has]. But to say his management made a mistake by going after Vlad , they did'nt mate . Sure he could have taken step aside money [ 250,000 -500,000 aus ] and tried to improve his skills on other contenders but the risk is he'll never get a shot at the title . Had to take it mate even though I think Thornberry knew the odds of Alex winning were 100000 /1.
