One of the biggest myths in boxing is that mayweather doesn't punch hard. No one has been able to walk through his punches at 147 and above. When floyd turns over a shot he hits very hard. Also earnie shavers had great technique for hard punching. He literally used to turn his whole body into his punches generating the maximum amount of torque.

What is this punches hard and a banger? They are two different things. Since bangers are very rare I think we have a case of boxer ***** envy.

No, no matter how hard you train you will never be a banger. You might be able to throw some hard punches when all the stars align even knock some people out but you will never be a banger.

A banger doesn't need to have perfect form on a punch for it to KTFO someone. Ernie Shavers the all time banger would be the perfect example. He didn't have anything close to perfect form no matter what you say.

Earnie shavers had perfect form and coordination for throwing hard. On his biggest punches he always punched through the target utilising his body mass and torso rotation to generate maximum power.

I know ali is old here but this is a very good example of someone throwing quick light shots compared to someone getting good shoulder and torso rotation on most shots. I agree some people are more naturally able to coordinate their body in this way to generate power than others but I can also say that most fighters with correct technique can punch very hard when punching for power. Ali is a good example of this. In the foreman fight he was punching for power clearly instead of throwing quick combinations.

speed X mass X technique = equals power , tho some blokes are slow but still have power...

So it would be mass X technique X timing... Usually a fighters core strength is wat generates the overal power
