    Antonio Margarito is the ESB measuring stick of the Welterweight division. So far Margarito has beaten up the following on ESB polls:-

    All those fighters got beat by the Tijuana Tornado in the ESB polls.

    This time he is put up against todays Welterweight threat: Keith 'One Time' Thurman. This is a FOTY type fight, one thing for certain it would take Thurman more than 'One Time' to Knock Iron Chinned Margarito out.

    If Margarito is a punch bag, he is one of the most durable ones ever. And when Margarito fought the ultimate punch bag from Ghana, Joshua Clottey, he ended up setting the CompuBox record for the most punches ever thrown in a fight.

    Mosley was able to tie Margarito up close and didn't give him any room to get his shots off. Thurman doesn't fight like that he boxes moves while landing shots sometimes exploding in and landing heavy blows.

    Mosley was grappling Margarito and was physically strong enough to out muscle Margarito, I do think Thurman is physically strong but I haven't seen Thurman deploy such tactics in his fights.

    Also, mentally that Margarito may have been the worst Margarito to have stepped into the ring, and that Mosley may have been the most pissed off Shane to have stepped into the ring coming off a expensive divorce.

    One, Thurman is no Mosley.

    Second, Prime Margarito, like it or not used hand wraps.

    Margarito was smiling when he was declared knocked out by the referee against Mosley. Margarito may have had one of the greatest chins in the history of the Welterweight division. Thurman may be a bigger puncher than Mosley, but Margarito has eaten up enough power shots without flinching to know he is not easy to hurt.

    Mosley had Margarito tired from the tough grappling he did to him, he was knocked out but tiredness was a major factor that night.

    Shawn Porter is more capable of imitating the Mosley style against Margarito than Thurman is.

    We all know that Margaricheato had no power to hurt anyone when he didn't put bricks into his gloves. He didn't beat anyone after coming back to fight again and finally he quit boxing.

    Margarito was the fighter who always blocked punches with his face, so keith Thurman will certainly KTFO Margarito if the latter doesn't make that kind of cheat again.

    3/4 of that **** didn't even land or come close to landing. Hell 90% of it didn't. After the fight the winner looked like the loser, and imo the loser won. Clottey won, but the had to save the Cotto fight so they robbed Clottey.
