You guys crack me up, Klitchko, a seasoned veteran at huge fight level, exceptional at keeping his opponent at HIS distance, rarely touches the ropes with his back, covers ground so much quicker than his opponents, always has room to manoeuvre, a very sharp very straight jab, a right that follows the jab with very often damaging consequences, how the fuk do you think his head movement will get him inside, only a very slick boxer would sit in klitchkos range, so Alex sits outside his range, has to come inside his range, without a jab in his face, even if Klitchko doesn't land, 1 movement from klitchkos foot and he is well outside again, bowel said come in swinging( very strategic) even if he was KOd in the 1st, what would you all be saying then, how **** was that I'd bet, pira offered karems idea, has none of his own, top cat said have a fukn go, sorry all end up at the same result, Leapai is definitely not blessed with fast twitch muscle fibres, Tyson was, expecting Leapai to hustle his way in and land punches would be the same as seeing Santa come down the chimney. boxing is one of the hardest sports on the planet, if not the hardest, most boxers could only dream of their hard earned blood sweat and tears day in day out year after year getting repayed with a six figure world title shot, which buys them a HOUSE for their family. alex is a rank amature COMPARED to one of the best heavyweights of all time in vladimir klitchko, dont think some of you guys have any idea how good wladimir is, he is a 6.7 version of a floyd mayweather, his footwork, athletisism and skills are out of this world for a guy that size.

fenech knew his fighters limitations also, but had the common sense to understand that his fighters arnt world beaters and never will be, so why not at least secure their futures with a world title payday, which will recoup some of the pain these guys go through on a daily basis & set up their family.

great career plan i say for a fighter who will never be at the elite level.

 

Very true bout Klitscko, just thought him n Thornberry would worked on his looping bowlo, by slipping inside jab then throwing it. Hey, even if he tried and missed, it would have maybe made Klitscko a lil hesitant in throwing that many jabs.


Only reason I'm so critical is because u would think he would have had a gameplay or 2, looked fit and not plod along. Of course Klitscko is good, but on that level u can't go in there poorly trained.


As I've said before, I've heard from Michael Kirby himself that Alex wasn't where he should have been when they sparred a few weeks ago.

 

The only hope I could say would have been Alex parrying klitchkos punches, klitchko throws solid punches, stopping punches helps his style but redirecting them could just make the big man come within punching range for Alex, then he still would have had a huge uphill battle, the 2 brothers have dominated so much for so long that America isn't even interested in the heavyweight division anymore, that really was a David vs Goliath battle for leapai, good on him for getting there, my hat is off to him

The last sentence is interesting.

Interesting also to hear Kirby was even sparring Leapai after the disclosure following the recent heavyweight tournament that he shouldn't have been in the ring anyway due to health issues.
