The following pictures got me thinking. What would happen if they did tag team boxing, who would win, Mayweather and Broner vs Pacquiao and Maidana.

It would take place like this:

Round 1- Mayweather vs Pacquiao
Round 2- Mayweather vs Maidana
Round 3- Broner vs Maidana
Round 4- Broner vs Pacquiao
Round 5- Mayweather vs Pacquiao
Round 6- Mayweather vs Maidana
Round 7- Broner vs Maidana
Round 8- Broner vs Pacquiao
Round 9- Mayweather vs Pacquiao
Round 10- Mayweather vs Maidana
Round 11- Broner vs Maidana
Round 12- Broner vs Pacquiao

Rules are, normal 10 point must system and goes to the scorecards if you reach the final bell.

If you OR your opponents are knocked out the other team win.

Round 2- Mayweather vs Maidana- Mayweather 10-9 (clear)
Round 3- Broner vs Maidana- Maidana 10-7 scoring 2 knockdowns
Round 4- Broner vs Pacquiao- Pacquiao KO

Winners- Manny Pacquiao and Marcos Maidana :deal

So what? We have never seen Fighter A face Fighter B normally and we pick one, even though we have no basis to make a judgement.

I have seen Maidana totally dominate Broner. After having his glass chin battered, he's got to fight the next round against Pac, who's been rested for 8 minutes. Therefore, that's my basis for picking Pacquiao/ Maidana to win in the 4th round. :deal
