All three of Wladimir Klitschko's defeats (though they are retired today).

Antonio Margarito's victory over Sergio; Sergio has gone on to be much, much greater. Paul Williams over Sergio, as well (although Paul too is retired).

Since their bout, Yaegashi has accomplished more than Ioka despite the H2H defeat.

If Nonito Donaire beats Vetyeka in one months' time decisively, then Donaire/Rigondeaux will apply (very short term, but still applies).

Giovani Segura lost to Edgar Sosa, has since been in 3 FOTY candidates and won all of them while Sosa came up short in his bid against Yaegashi.

Maidana lost to Alexander, has since flipped the script.

For a lot of people commenting on this thread maybe you should define the term 'active' for them on the OP

Depending on what happens in the next year or two Pac - Marquez may fall into this conversation.. I think Pac clearly has the better legacy, and since the KO loss, Marquez lost to Bradley and Pac beat Bradley.

I realize these fighters have fought 4 times, and it puts a different spin on it, but I feel overall Marquez got the best of Pac.

Don't get the Rigo Donaire example sure overall Donaire is greater but since then Rigo dominated a good fighter and Donaire struggled in a hand picked return

Penalosa KO'ing Gonzales, who is now a FW champion, at least in the eyes of fans here in North America...

I'm pretty sure anyone bringing up Donaire/Rigondeaux is doing so with an *.

    * = if Donaire beats Vetyeka next month in Macau.
