I think it's just a Bury thing - I'm from the same town as him and I understand him fine.

Oh, and apparently there's a new rule where I have to make a hate-filled rant about your extended family. Would you mind awfully if I didn't?

Why the **** does Salinas get bigged up so much, the guy has beaten absolutely nobody and was lucky to get a draw against quigg, thats his best result as a pro!

btw, Terrazas and Romero beat Quigg? not a chance

Salinas should earn a rematch by beating someone in the top 100 which he laughable has never done, all of this talk of robberies these days well Salinas got a gift draw in Quiggs home country

And yet this guy had Quigg missing all night and confused like the dopey guy he is made him look more robotic than Wlad :think

Salinas had no heart, didnt force the fight so he can only blame himself he didnt get the win. But it was clear as day who has the better skills

A draw was right in the Salinas fight. Quiggs 6 rounds where clear as day (as where Salinas rounds) and he finished the fight strong.

I agree though. He'll be put on his back as soon as he steps up. Same as Cleverly before him.

    Excellent point.

Re. Quigg slurring. He obviously has a stammer, nothing else. Add that to him actually thinking before he opens his gob, I can see why it sounds so bad nowadays.

    Did he ****.

The draw was fair. The only gift Salinas got was it actually being scored correctly.

Exactly the only gift he got was only 1 judge tried to rob him instead of 2 judges

But if you run down Salinas - then by default you are running down Quigg too!

Cos now you are effectively saying Quiggs BEST result is a draw (a hometown draw at that!) with a guy who "has beaten absolutely nobody".

Scott Quigg went into the fight thinking Salinas was actually worth a damn, thanks to people hyping him up, once Quigg realised Salinas wasn't worthy of respect and closed the gap, Salinas looked like Malik Scott in there

Only if I think a draw vs Salinas is Scott Quiggs best result as a pro fighter, which I emphatically do not, because anybody who thinks that is once again over rating Salinas.

Yoandris Salinas best win is against a fighter who was 12-1-2 and has since lost two on the spin since

If Quigg had a rematch now that he knows what Salinas is all about, it wouldn't be much of a contest IMO

What do you think was Quiggs best result then?
And pointing out - as you quite correctly do - that Salinas best result was against a very ordinary opponent is in a a way an indirect criticism of Quigg, no?
It seems hard to get away from the fact that his failure to deal with Salinas does indeed raise a question about Scotts ability.
