Interesting perception from Mosley who's fought them both. Apparently Pac hits harder. From 2.58

I think the Pacquiao some of you believe will beat Alvarez doesn't exist anymore. Sure he had great performances against Cotto, De La Hoya and Hatton, but that was pre-Marquez IV. I wouldn't even factor in the DLH match because we all know the circumstances surrounding that fight. In his last outing against, who many of you refer to as "feather fisted" Badley, he was taken off his feet and wobbled and it wasn't until Bradley began to fatigue that Pacquiao looked good. Alvarez is a very skilled fighter who is still pre-prime, and appears to be improving with each fight, he's not an old past prime fighter like Mosley or De La Hoya, and Pacquaio is not the same Pacquiao of 5 years ago. The fact that just a few weeks ago, after Pacquiao vs Bradley II, Roach stated he was going to ask Pacquiao to move down to 140 because he thought 147 was taking a bad toll on PAC, and only 1 week later they were talking about fighting Alvarez, should tell you they have no serious interest in Pacquiao fighting Alvarez at any weight. I think Alvarez beats Pacquiao fairly easy.

Pacquiao with his in & out movements and great combinations will frustrate Alvarez.

Pacquiao vs Alvarez @ 152 = Pacquuiao via UD :deal

I'm a Pacquiao fan and I believe that Alvarez will be too much for him. Whoever says Pacquiao will win against the kid easy is dumb. Compared to Margarito who is big but very slow, Alvarez is the opposite.

I hope they do put Pacquiao in the ring with Canelo, watching Bob Arum's reaction to Pac getting massacred would be entertaining...

Canelo is too flat footed and has stamina issues this is why he loses to Pac!

He doesn't have Canelo's flaws! Lets not forget that Canelo couldn't get rid of the likes of Mathew Hatton! This isn't Angulo or a shot Mosley here !

Canelo is a puncher who's trying to box and he's good at it, but not great. If he fought more like a prime Mosley where his footwork and head to head movement was of a boxer, but dedicated more to sitting on his punches for one punch power Canelos hooks would be more deadly. A drained Canelo would be 50\50 vs Pacman. Lacked some speed and power vs Floyd.

Pacquiao spends the fight nailing Alvarez with str8 lefts down the middle and getting out of the way. No interest in this fight. Pacquiao has to unify titles at ww and Canelo has to step up and try to get a fight with Martinez.

Figured this was a timely bumb, with Pacquiao picking Algeri and Nelo taking out Lara maybe some opinions have changed.
