Over at the nation this is what Keith had to say

“Paulie Malignaggi made an excuse and Shawn Porter’s team made an excuse not to fight me,” Thurman responded when asked for examples. But he wasn’t done. “Robert Guerrero said no according to Richard Schaefer. Marcos Maidana pulled out of a fight with me. There might be another big name that I can’t remember right now but we get a lot of “No” and all I do is say “Yes!”

And maidana too but he probably pulled out at thought of potentially getting the floyd fight(which he did) so not a complete duck

Fighting Thurman is high risk low reward. He's still proving himself but packs real power and boxing ability. I think Thurman should just keep koing these gatekeepers, and they won't be able to ignore and avoid him for too long. He's got the all the tools to be great and the verbal skills to be an main attraction.

Paulie had bigger fish to fry at that time. I don't recall the circumstance around a Porter or Maidana fight. Guerrero passing on that fight was perplexing to me and could be seen as a duck.

    Not a duck at all.

It's not ducking to turn down a fight with a no mark to fight the biggest boxer in the game.

Thurman is in a tough place because his resume is **** but people are too scared to help him strengthen that resume by getting in the ring with him

shawn porter is not a surprise as he was looking at fights which generate more money... at the time it was not worth it... now a shaw porter vs thurnman fight is more lucrative

I agree shawn v Keith is probably the best fight for both guys. But I think porter has to fight Brook
