Why Isn't Oscar DeLa Hoya where he should be?

All week during press conferences, weigh-in and other photo ops, no sign of Golden Boy Promotions figure head, Oscar DeLa Hoya.

Word is Oscar is hanging with his new drug pusher, Bi-Polar Bob, but isn't there a major GBP going on in Vegas. So why is Oscar MIA and hanging with the competition to GBP management spent so much time and effort beating by to the curb? :smoke

 

He apparently is holding a press conference at 7:00 EST. This should clear up a lot.

Golden Boy was started by Hoya and Schaefer is running it but not in a straight line. Hoya is about to put Schaefer in check. Schaefer got pimp by Floyd and Hoya is offering him a way out but he Schaefer want none of it.

 

After tonight's event is over, everything will unfold...or should I say unravel.

 

ODLH seems not to have much of a relationship with GBP fighters, and worst, he has even worst relationships with TR fighters.
It doesn't make sense, unless you put together that Schaefer and Oscar have put together a con to con the con-man. They are throwing Bob a rope making him believe that Oscar wants to patch things up when in fact Oscar will probably sneak in a one-on-one with Pacquiao, Garcia and Rigo on the slide.

I give Richard Schaefer about 2 weeks before he quits.

Oscar just had a Press Conference about how he wants to steer the company toward his vision. Schaefer won't follow that vision.

 

he had a press conference basically said that he has spoken to arum and now the next move is up to him if he wants to end the cold war. said he was surprised that golden boy have been doing shows for fighters only signed to al haymon. said that richard isn't getting fired but he's extending the olive branch to him too although lawyers have been involved.

 

Main Events is right about one thing, Schaefer has been conspiring to take DLH out of Golden Boy. He's been promoting cards for fighters exclusively signed to Haymon behind DLH's back. That is slimy.

He's not looking out for Golden Boy, he's looking out for himself. Oscar will do what he needs to do to get the company back, sign fighters to his promotion instead of promoting for others.

Oscar wants the power back and he will get the power back because he is the majority owner. Schaefer won't like it and he will leave.

At first I was laughing at how ridiculous it was that Oscar was just finding out now that his fighters were never with him and only signed to Haymon. Now that it's sunk it, that is really sleazy and disgraceful of Schaefer. He's supposed to be Golden Boy CEO, when he's actually been playing Schaefer-Haymon CEO.
